Changes to Wednesday Lecture and Workshop (8/28/13)

Hello!

I am going to move around some things during tomorrow's lecture and workshop to make sure everyone is able to upload assignments to Blogger and Google Drive. There is a lot to do, so class will begin at 10:45 A.M. sharp. Here is what I'm looking at:

Lecture:

-If anyone has any questions over either, this will be the time to ask. 

How To:
-Create account and upload on Google Drive and Blogger with one student

Topic:
-Talk over Stage 1 Reflection on Reading, Writing, and Learning

Workshop:

Peer Feedback:
-In groups, switch essay drafts and provide feedback over ideas and concepts. Ask questions to your peers to get the brain thinking about the connection made between the prompt and what was written.

One-on-One Help:
- During this, I will help students who are having trouble with the uploading process. The goal is to have all students online, in the know, and ready to submit assignments.

Preparation for Friday:
-Reread Article 1 on the syllabus for Friday.
-Questions to think about for group discussion (and write down responses to - remember, practice makes better):
       -After class and group discussions on your initial reflections on W/R/L, what connections can you make
       or not make with Downs and Wardle?
       -As a student, what initial ideas are stirred from reading this article?
