Okay everyone,
So hopefully everyone was able to narrow down a specific content base for your project. No one has written me seeking individualized help, so I'm taking this as good news... I think. Remember, if you are "stuck" or need some advice, feel free to E-mail me or stop by the Writing Center.
For this week, I want you guys to start thinking and planning the construction of your projects by answering the following questions in this post:
- Who is my audience?
- What is my topic?
- How can I make a connection between the two?
- What, then, would be an appropriate media to use that would work for both my audience and my topic? (By "media" I mean hand made, an App, a program like Photoshop or Illustrator, Prezi, etc.)
Everyone should reply and help out at least one other peer on this topic. Let's get a conversation.
Remember to look back at the assignment sheet (found in Drive) for the fine print on the construction process.

My audience are parents and people in general. My topic is Causes and Treatments of Mixed Receptive and Expressive Language Disorders on preschool children. I'm still deciding on my media. It's either hand made design (pamphlet/brochure format) or Prezi.
ReplyDeleteI think you should go with the hand made design. You could put a lot more detail and structure into it. A pamphlet would be a great media for parents
Deletei agree with brittany is true with the hand made design it will lead you to good quality of design and it will make your parents impress.
DeleteMy topic is Facebook Vrs Twitter. I think a lot students and teenagers would be my audience when it comes to social media because we are the ones that mainly use it. I think my audience will be extremely interested also because my project will sure the differences and similarities between these two highly used networks. I think a nice hand-made project will catch my audiences attention better.

DeleteThe topic for my project is Developmental stage- typical developments during newborn, infancy, toddlerhod, and preschooler and my audience are parents. I am thinking in doing my porject as a hand made project because I think that with this option I can put more details and creativity than with a media, but I am not too sure yet.

I think that my audience has a connection with this topic because I will be explaining how James Blundell made the blood transfusion possible. My media will be a hand made dessign in a folded cardboard.
ReplyDeleteMy audience is everyone that uses facebook, which is everyone. My topic is How details behind the creatino of facebook are linked with Mark Zuckeberg. My audience and topic are very connected because most of the students know about social networking or facebook. A good media would be the progress of facebook like a family tree but full of facebook information progress.

ReplyDeleteMy topic is how can an injury may affect an individual mentally, emotionally and physycally?. My audience are people with injuries, parents, doctos and other individuals. I have not decided which media I am going to use but I think I am going to doit handmade
ReplyDeleteMy audience is going to be for the parents, as for my topic it is going to be child obesity in South Texas. I am going to take an advice that one of my peers said and that was to make some kind of pamphlet...maybe. I think i am going to do it by hand/ or powerpoint

Mainly business people so they can have ideas in which or how he came to be overall or people who care about him like me (: therefore I'm going to use a website to help me design for my project so it can look more neat and professional. What factors cause or lead to crimes. (Nature vs Nurture)

Make people understand that there are not forced to live in a criminal environment, we as a whole, have the control.

The Media I'm still yet to decide but more than likely handmade
1. My audience is the general public along with people with affected loved ones.

4. Personally, I say Prezi simply because I can create a short presentation and then put the link on Facebook or other social media sites where others can share it. Photoshop would be a close second, except the fact that I am uncertain about the program itself.
- Who is my audience? my audience would be mostly everyone of all ages and its usually all younger ages who are basketball fans. Other people would be interested also.

My connection would be that im informing the studeents that are intrested in this area about it
I have seen alot of posters when at school they do carrers fair and it gets my attention and it makes me want to look at the poster
