Due Wednesday Online Before Class

Remember to have these 5 questions uploaded before class tomorrow on a Word Document and bring a  printed copy with you to class for discussion during the lecture. Also, don't forget the poll - I extended the closing date to tomorrow midnight.

For Downs and Wardle:
(1). Tell me what the article is about?  How is meant to help me as a student?
(2). Pick two bold topics and for paragraph, write a paraphrase (a summary in your own words).
         a.   Identify the page number your topic is on; identify the bold title; articulate your
               paraphrase.
 (3). Summarize the conclusion (page 573, “Finally,…”)
      a. What is the point Downs and Wardle try to make after writing almost 11 pages of text?
      b. What do they believe writing studies students should be able to do and what learning environment should they be able to do it in?

                (1) Write one or two (or more) paragraphs explaining to me where you are with your draft.
                      a. What do you feel still needs development?
                      b. What do you want to completely change?
                      c. What do you want to keep (marriage) and why?
