Meme for 10/14/13

Make a connection between Dwight's logic and the infographic projects. What types of strategies do you plan on using to make your infographics attract attention? Try to be specific to your projects and avoid generalities, like using only stating "using bright colors" or "putting my title in bold font". Let's start a conversation and help each other out.

  1. Since my topic is dealing with war vets, I'm thinking about using army green and having the different insignia's from each branch of the military somewhere. In this case, my audience can have an initial idea about the topic based on colors and 'decorations'. So far, I have yet to meet someone who doesn't have either a friend or family member or even someone they just happen to know that served in the military for an amount of time. So I think that incorporating the different aspects of it will help promote my topic. And a few fancy fonts won't hurt anyone. :)

  2. The connection from the meme to the infographic projects is by designing your own design that will help you attract more attention from people. That's what I want to do; I want to create a design by hand using a pamphlet or brochure format. I want to use assorted colors like red, blue, pink, green, and orange and different types and sizes of fonts. I want to put in facts, pictures, and table/graphs that will attract people's attention to my infographic.

  3. During this project, I want to go with Steve Jobs head and have arrows with it on top to explain everything he went throughout his life. I’m sticking with blacks, whites, grays, and blues as for the font. I might put two or more pictures so the people can see what he did.

  4. The connection is to out-do your info-graphic on the designs and make it stand out to where you grasp your audiences attention. I plan on using bright colors on my info-graphic instead of dull boring ones. i want to make the background in the shape of the social media networks i am presenting. I also want to make the information i have, stand out to where people can see it

  12. ill probably be using purple and yellow because im making a bio of kobe but also put some other colors that symbolize himself as he grew up like the Italian flag or the colors of his high school. Choose a color that will show what you are trying to tell in your story then make shine. Every person has its own way of expressing their story its just the way its told that will get the attention it should get. so choose colors that excite yourself and show the story its concept.
